Unifying industry professionals across Canada, the Academy is a vital force representing all screen-based industries.

Our mandate is to:

  • Honour outstanding achievements in Canadian film and television;
  • Heighten public awareness and increase audience attendance, viewership, and appreciation of Canadian film and television productions through its national Award program.
  • Preserve and promote Canada’s film and television heritage;
