Election 2011 – Positions on the Arts

Interviews with the four parties who ran in the November 2011 election.

The Saskatchewan Arts Alliance asked Dave Margoshes to interview the leaders of the four parties vying in the November 7th provincial election about their views on the arts. All four leaders were presented with an identical set of questions.

He interviewed Saskatchewan Liberal Leader Ryan Bater and Green Party of Saskatchewan Leader Victor Lau – videos of those interviews are now on our website. You’ll also find his interview with Danielle Chartier, NDP candidate in Saskatoon Riversdale, who party leader Dwain Lingenfelter assigned to fill in for him. In the last legislature, she was Opposition critic for Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport, which includes the arts. Saskatchewan Party Leader Brad Wall also declined to be interviewed but provided written responses to our questions – those too are below.
