Arts Everywhere: Episode Fifty-two
Later Life, Creative Life with Bruce Dow
This is the seventh in a special series entitled “Later Life, Creative Life”, which explores what a creative life looks like in artists ages 60 and up.
Bruce Dow has a story that feels will resonate with many artists who are entering the second chapter of their careers. During the pandemic, Bruce pivoted from being a celebrated, award-winning Broadway singer/actor to becoming a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO), Registered Counselling Therapist (NSCCT), and Certified Psychospiritual Therapist. One of the most powerful themes from our conversation is that who you were in your 20s isn’t necessarily who you are now—and that change can be both challenging and profoundly freeing.
